About us

Formerly it was the 100% state owned enterprise , establishing on 20/1/1995. Start operating the frozen shrimp process on 03/02/1996. Equitized and transformed to  Sao Ta Foods Joint Stock Company with trading name: FIMEX VN. FIMEX VN had officially listed at HOSE with stock symbol FMC. Set up An San Foods Factory for argo-processing, whom products mainly consumed in Japan market including kakiage, sweet potatoes, okra, eggplant, bell peppers under the form of steam fry, fresh, blend. FIMEX VN has its own  160 hectare shrimp farm with  ASC and BAP standards, making more secure to customers. Hundreds of hectares have been cooperating with farmers for growing agricultural products for export. Sales exceeded US$ 100million, expected to reach US$200 million on 2016…

 Total labors as of June 30, 2012 are about 2,500 persons. Among that:

2 . Processing capacity :

At the time being FMC has 6 processing factories, including:

- Factory No.1                        : processing block items

- Factory No.2 & No.3             : processing value-added items

- Factory No.4                        : processing IQF items

- Factory No.5                        : processing value-added items

- Factory No.6                        : processing breaded items

Processing capacity               : 50 tons of final products/day

- An San Foods Factory : processing capacity of 10 tons of final vegetable-products/day
