Tien Giang Food Company ( TIGIFOOD), a state-owned company, was established in 1984   and has grown into a professional Rice Exporter of Vietnam since 1989. Tigifood is part of  The Southern Food Corporation and a member of Vietnam Food Association.

Main business:

-        Processing rice for exporting and supplying to local market.

-        Processing rice paper under the trademark  “ Thuan Binh” for exporting and supplying to local market

-        Bottling natural mineral drinking water under the trademark “ Suoi Xanh”

Other bussiness:

      -  Importing fertilizers, pesticides, building materials, consumer goods, agricultural products, food, machinery, industrial equipment, materials for agricultural production and processing, oil and gas business .

Markets:

- Overseas markets: accounting for over 80% annual sales , including traditional markets such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Hongkong, Singapore, Philippines, United State of America. Due to intense pressure and competition on price of quality rice from Thailand, India, Pakistan, the company has aggressively expanded its market to South Africa, Nepal, Bangladesh, Egypt, Haiti, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Israel, Switzerland, Portugal, Russia.

- Domestic market: The supermarkets in Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, the Eastern Province, the central region and even the North (Ha Noi, Hai Phong).

The main requirements for the quality of the product (rice): homogeneous category, well milled, good quality, proper moisture .. Competitive price, packaging, good design, scheduled timely delivery, ensure food safety and hygiene

- Currently Tien Giang Food Company is a state-owned company class 1, is located in the "Top 5" companies of the Southern Food Corporation with a steady growth over the years. In 2008, Tigifood was the leading sector movement of  Southern Food Corporation.
