Over the years, Than Uyen Tea Joint Stock Company has a long history of development, with the precursor of Military Farm, was established on March 7, 1959 under Decision No. 14 of the Ministry of General Advising on the original task was to abstain from combining with reclaiming the economy, maintaining national security and defense in the Northwest of the country.
Up to now, the company has 429 hectares of tea producing safe tea in the direction of good agriculture (VietGAP), and raw materials in communes and towns of Tan Uyen district with a total area of over 700 hectares. The company has a green tea processing factory with a processing capacity of 80 tons per day and a black tea processing plant with the capacity of 20 tons per day, which is maintained strictly in accordance with the quality management system. food safety and hygiene ISO 22000: 2005, the product is high quality, safe to meet the strict requirements of the domestic market and the world. Annually, the company provides the market with over 1,700 tonnes of dried tea of all kinds, consumed domestically and exported to other countries such as China, Taiwan, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
