Products are produced in clean environment: clean water, clean soil, and clean air. Clean agriculture towards organic agriculture is the basic advantage of competing with other agricultural products elsewhere. However, Bac Kan's products are not competitive in terms of quantity, especially in the province's small population, divided terrain, and different climates. Therefore, the province advocates towards the production of specific products based on climate and special soil preserving the seed source and genes that keep the characteristics of the product. Bac Kan's population is just over 300,000 but 80% live in rural areas, local people produce for their daily life, so most of the typical products such as winter melon, vermicelli ... are market oriented outside the province to consume. Therefore, the main direction for the output of local products is the OCOP program. Products have been upgraded and upgraded in terms of designs, packaging and diversification by households and businesses, creating favorable conditions for products to reach consumers. The products are vacuumed, canned. Winter melon is processed into many products that bring convenience: like dried winter melon is very convenient in daily food processing, so it is well received by consumers:  Vermicelli, winter melon are being developed according to the needs of the market while ensuring inherent quality.

In the coming time, Bac Kan province will continue to implement policies to support and encourage cooperatives, businesses and production facilities to focus on investing and directing the production organization methodically, synchronously, meeting product standardization and consumer tastes, contributing to branding for OCOP products of the province, prestige in the domestic market and export-oriented.
