Haiphong, 16 October 2019 - DEEP C Industrial Zones is pleased to announce the launch of Vietnam – Belgium Cultural & Economic Exchange Festival on three days from 25/10/2019 to 27/10/2019. The festival, hosted by DEEP C Industrial Zones on behalf of Embassy of Belgium, delivers a range of events including: B. Fest – Belgian Cuisine & Culture Festival 2019, Haiphong Port & Logistics Symposium 2019 and a semi classical concert “Coming Home”.

The festival was initiated with the ambition of becoming a one-of-a-kind Belgian weekend in Haiphong that puts a spotlight on the city as a dynamic and emerging place to live and do business. Its vision is to showcase the best Haiphong has to offer in all sectors while driving the FDI flows into the city, especially in manufacturing industry.

More than that, these event series serve as a sincere thank-you gift from DEEP C to Haiphong and its people for 20 years of accompanying and developing together. Thanks to the warm welcome and dedicated support from Haiphong since 1997, DEEP C has been able to thrive and stand out as one of the largest industrial zones in Vietnam.

Being the biggest Belgian project in Vietnam, DEEP C expects this event series will strengthen the already close bond between Haiphong and Belgium, and consequently call for more Belgian businesses to the city.

Many overseas companies have already shifted their manufacturing to Haiphong, others are considering moving in the near future. All are aware of the attractive push factors, among these are cost of doing business, strategic location, improved infrastructure, free trade agreements and tax incentives.

For businesses to get the big picture of logistics landscape as well as guidance on doing business in Haiphong, the symposium offers constructive insights and research by leaders from EuroCham, AmCham, JLL, Hateco, DEEP C Industrial Zones.  Discussion, interaction will be open and straightforward as these experts do not hesitate to share what genuinely lies ahead the investment decision. Another highlight of the symposium is how renewable energy can be integrated in logistics and optimize logistics cost.
Haiphong Port & Logistics Symposium 2019, including a site tour to DEEP C Industrial Zones, will take place on 25th October 2019, from 10:00 – 17:30.
3.    “Coming Home” concert by singer Pham Thu Ha
As part of this year's festival, the "Coming Home" concert is considered one of the highlights for music lovers. The concert will express the great love and appreciation of a girl living far away from home to her motherland.
The concert presents 20 songs, recalling a colourful music journey nurtured and inspired by Hai Phong city. Songs will be performed by singer Pham Thu Ha, known for her talent in semi-classical music, together with other famous artists such as Quang Dũng, Phúc Tiệp, Ngô Đức…
Through this concert, DEEP C wish to introduce to the world a traditional and classical aspect of Haiphong apart from the familiar image of a modern port and industrial city of today.
