Net Detergent Joint Stock Company (NETCO) started official operations in 1968 in Bien Hoa, a high potential realm for industrial development, and officially went public in 2003. From a State-owned enterprise with modest capital, after nearly 50 years of ongoing efforts, NETCO has risen to become a true giant in the Vietnamese chemical industry.

Currently, NETCO has two factories which are highly appreciated by leading technical experts, one at the head office in Loc An - Binh Son Industrial Park (Dong Nai province) and another in Hanoi City, with a designed annual output capacity of 180,000 tonnes of detergents and 100,000 tonnes of detergent liquids. The company’s key products include detergents, dishwashing liquids, floor cleaning liquids, bathroom bleach, fabric softeners and liquid laundry detergents. In addition, the company produces glass cleaner and multifunctional bleach for the Japanese market. In the near future, the firm will make handwashing liquid, shampoo and shower gels to meet the increasing and diversified demands of consumers.

With the operating principle of integrating production with environmental protection and safety for community health, in addition to modern machinery and equipment system, NETCO has actively applied new advanced technologies to production. The company was among the first detergent companies in Vietnam to introduce ZEOLITE to production since 2006 to protect water resources and avoid environmental pollution. NETCO was also one of the first detergent producers in Vietnam to have a closed enzyme blending system capable of manufacturing premium laundry products safe for operator health. In liquid detergent production, the company has adopted the most advanced production methods, strictly adhered to anti-microbial processes, and used ultraviolet rays in water treatment. Well aware of consumer health protection, all inputs are of high quality and imported from industrially developed countries such as the United Kingdom, France and the United States. NETCO CEO Thai Thi Hong Yen said, “Using honesty as the root of business, NETCO aims to make products for the community rather than chase after profit that blurs the humanity of Vietnamese people. ‘Honesty and morality’ is the message NETCO delivers to its staff, from manufacturing to sales divisions. That message is delivered thereupon to consumers through NETCO-branded safe, quality and reasonable products, and joint efforts to build a better consumer society.”

With over 50 years of operations in detergent production and strong corporate governance, NETCO has risen to become one of the largest detergent producers in Vietnam and a trusted partner of domestic and foreign customers. Unilever is one of the biggest customers of NETCO with the largest number of top-branded products in the Vietnamese market like OMO, VISO, Sunlight and VIM, all of which are made by NETCO. At present, NETCO's products are already available in all major supermarket chains like Coop Mart, METRO, Big C, Lotte and AEON, as well as in traditional distribution channels stretching from Da Nang to Ca Mau, highly appreciated by consumers.

Not only affirming the brand name in domestic market, NETCO has also confidently brought its products beyond national boundaries to reach very demanding high-class markets such as Japan, Australia and New Zealand, the Americas and ASEAN, making NETCO a top sales contributor to the Vietnam Chemical Group. “Driven by Vietnam’s positive economic development in a globally competitive environment, NETCO is ready to expand cooperation with domestic distributors and international companies to provide detergent products, not only for Vietnamese consumers but also for consumers in Asia, Europe and other continents,” she said.
