National Trade Promotion Mission Heads for Bangladesh and Sri Lanka

In carrying out the National Trade Promotion Programme, the Africa, West Asia and South Asia Market Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade will organise a trade promotion delegation to Dhaka City, Bangladesh and Colombo City, Sri Lanka from August 6 to 14, 2017. The mission aims to find partners, promote trade cooperation, import and export goods, and expand business cooperation with Bangladesh and Sri Lanka markets.

Major commodities to be promoted are apparels, machines, equipment, instruments, rubber, pepper, coffee, yarns, computers, electronic devices and components, chemicals, telephones, seafood, pharmaceuticals, cotton, cinnamon, footwear, clinker, steel billets, liquefied petroleum gas, agricultural machines, inputs for garment and textile industries and leather and footwear industries, sesame, animal feeds and raw materials.
